It's actually not very close to the campus at all (it takes the same amount of time to drive as to walk). Main issues: the apartment shakin … g. It felt like an earthquake in my apartment every few nights, shook me up and scared me so bad. My heavy wood dresser would shake with the walls. All the cardio equipment in the fitness center at Preserve at Baywood phase 1 is broken. I' ve submitted work orders multiple times , but nothing is being done to fix this issue. Phase 1 residents do not have access to the phase 2 gym except during business hours. This is very inconvenient. I have only been at The Preserve at Baywood for about a month now, and while there have been issues, the front office has done their best to resolve them. The apartment is in a quiet location yet close to pretty much all the stores you need to do your day to day activities. There are two HEBs with in 3 miles of it, a Target off of Fairmont, and a lot of shopping and restaurant options as well. Parking is plentiful in the first front apartments.
