For those unfamiliar, it means you have to fall under a certain income bracket to be able to qualify for housing there. While no one really expects income based housing to be luxurious, there are quite a few things River Reach can, and really should, improve upon. My main issue, and why we decided to move, is that there is absolutely no enforcement of the parking policies or the noise policies. I would regularly come home to absolutely no parking at my building and have to park one building over (sometimes late at night which was unnerving), only to see a bunch of unknown cars parked in our lot for several days. Many of these cars were obviously not residents' or even operational vehicles, which was against their own parking policy. Reporting to the office did nothing. Rarely would a live person answer the phone anyway, even if calling during sup...

First day, walked out on my "porch" to be visually greeted by an exposed beer-belly sitting on a completely upholstered couch , that was on his porch. Guess he didn't get the memo that there is indeed furniture that is made for the outdoors as well as clothing for bellies of that caliber. While this was disturbing, I will admit that there were some pluses to living at Meridian Pointe . Maintenance was pretty punctual about fixing things, neighbors were decent, and location is convenient to the highways. Also, PET FRIENDLY! But, in regards to pets, on my final walk through before moving out, a maintenance guy came to inspect my place, checked my carpet for pet damage, and told me it was in good condition . Then, I was charged for new carpet!? Dislike. Worst apartment ever. Moved in they charged...

POWAY -- The city's newest affordable-housing development received its first residents over the weekend, after being cleared by the city for occupancy late last week. Escondido- based nonprofit Community HousingWorks teamed up with the city to build Solara Apartments on the southwest corner of Community Road and Hilleary Place, just south of Hilleary Park. The $16.5 million, 3- acre project added 55 apartments to the city's supply of housing for low- and very- low income people . Contractors are still putting finishing touches on the complex's landscaping. Community HousingWorks asset manager Rosemary Stabrawa said Monday, however, that Solara's first residents moved in over the weekend, and more are expected to follow by the end of this week. All the cardio equipment in the fitness center at Preserve at Baywood phase 1 is broken. I' ve submitted work orders multiple times , but nothing is being done to fix this issue. Phase 1 residents do not have access to the phase 2 gym except during business hours. This is very inconvenient. I have only been at The Preserve at Baywood for about a month now, and while there have been issues, the front office has done their best to resolve them. The apartment is in a quiet location yet close to pretty much all the stores you need to do your day to day activities. There are two HEBs with in 3 miles of it, a Target off of Fairmont, and a lot of shopping and restaurant options as well. Parking is plentiful in the first front apartments.
