This was our second stay at the Pegasus, while the 2 bedroom apartments aren 't huge they are comfortable and clean, only thing missing is a washing machine and dryer in the room. There is a communal laundry on the pool level with a wash being $5 and a dryer being $4, while handy it is much better having these in room especially for families staying longer than a night or two. The huge heated pool is popular with guests as is the spa adjoining the pool. The gym was well equipped looking out to the pool area. House keeping do a great job servicing the rooms daily. Reception girls are excellent and will accommodate your needs where they can, every dealing I've had with them has been great. Staff in the restaurant and bar area are also very helpful and friendly, even the maintenance team are all cheerful and friendly. All the cardio equipment in the fitness center at Preserve at Baywood phase 1 is broken. I' ve submitted work orders multiple times , but nothing is being done to fix this issue. Phase 1 residents do not have access to the phase 2 gym except during business hours. This is very inconvenient. I have only been at The Preserve at Baywood for about a month now, and while there have been issues, the front office has done their best to resolve them. The apartment is in a quiet location yet close to pretty much all the stores you need to do your day to day activities. There are two HEBs with in 3 miles of it, a Target off of Fairmont, and a lot of shopping and restaurant options as well. Parking is plentiful in the first front apartments. Our family of three, and two small dogs, stayed in apartment #3 for nine days. It's in a great location, right near Valley Gardens. It's an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable & there was a washer (no dryer) in the kitchen, which was great for us. Sainsbury's is right around the corner to pick up groceries. There was some confusion, as the apartments are "serviced," we expected clean towels after several days. We did call & got a prompt response, which was great. We also locked ourselves out once, and were very thankful that management had a back up plan, so we were able to get in right away. All in all, I would highly recommend! Room Tip: We were in apartment 3, a two bed, one bath that was great for three adults and two dogs.
