A man is accused of assaulting his neighbors in Austin after claiming they were blocking his garage according to an arrest affidavit. Brent Grablachoff, 36, was charged with assault with injury to the elderly, a third- degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. His victims were a 65-year-old man and the man’s 68-year-old wife who said they did not know him, the affidavit said. It said the incident happened Tuesday at apartments at 9520 Spectrum Drive in a part of Austin in Williamson County . The male victim said he and his wife were packing up boxes to move to Oregon in their vehicle parked in front of their apartment building, the affidavit said. It said he saw a man — later identified as Grablachoff — pull up in a car, get out of it and start yelling at his wife about moving their vehicle. From Conway Police Department reports A note on the proceedings Sunday, Aug. 13 at 10 minutes after 2 p.m., police were called to a business on Main Street. Police arrived and found a sticky note on the business’s window upon which was written “[Redacted] Trump.” The note-writer, the officer noted, referred to himself or herself as the “Alt-right” on the same note. On another business, officers spotted another note, and with further investigation found about 10 to 15 notes attached to various local businesses. The notes were not limited to the statement of the first note, but instead included such statements as: “Justice for Muslims, Avenge Cuille,” “ Make Racists afraid again” and “ Protect LGBTQ rights .” Pictures were taken and the specifics on location were recorded. Anthony James Dochtermann , 25, was shot around 2:55 a.m. and later died at the hospital from his injuries, according to police. Police received a 911 call about a shooting at the Ashton Woods Apartments at 3927 Hahns Lane from a friend Dochtermann was visiting. "He went outside and it sounds like he got shot," the caller told the dispatcher. "He walked outside, like he was leaving." Later in the call, the friend said Dochtermann, "doesn't know who shot him or anything." The friend helped Dochtermann while on the phone with 911, telling the dispatcher Dochtermann was still awake and breathing, but "bleeding a lot." ST. LOUIS • Police said an officer shot and killed a man who had stabbed an officer inside an apartment Tuesday morning . But a woman who said she was related by marriage to the person killed said that person was a transgender woman named Kenneth “Kiwi” Herring. Linden Police Department LINDEN — After a five month investigation, two people have been arrested and charged with theft by deception after they ran bogus Craigslist ads promoting apartments for rent, police said. Allan Betancourt and Myra Sullivan, also known as Marcos Cardenas and Mirna Grant, made more than $9,000 from “multiple victims,” police said. In August the department announced that couples from Linden and Elizabeth had been victims of the scam, combining to spend close to $5,000 on what they thought was an apartment in Linden. The Elizabeth couple, they said, paid $2,650 in cash, which they believed covered two months rent, and a lease agreement for an apartment on Cedar Avenue. Police said when the couple went to the apartment, the keys they were given by a man they knew as “Marco” did not work, and they were unable to contact him. WICHITA, Kan. UPDATE (10:35 p.m.) Police say they are frequently responding to calls at Woodgate Apartments and they are working with apartment managers to curb the problem. People who live in the homes across the street from the complex said they had never felt unsafe in the area. "It blows me away someone got shot and killed across the street, but you know, you see it on the news every night," said Randy Collins. "It just happens to be across our street." People who lived in the area said they are glad Wichita police plan to partner with management. Two teenagers are facing charges after they allegedly followed a man to his Dartmouth apartment and tried to rob him earlier this month. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery on Primrose Street shortly after 3 p.m. on Aug. 2. Police say a 55-year-old man was followed by a young man and a young woman as he entered his apartment building. Police say the pair followed the man to his own apartment and then forced their way inside as he entered the unit. Police say the young woman had a rock while the young man had a knife, and they demanded the man’s property. The man stomped his feet on the floor, which got his neighbour’s attention, and they came to his aid. The suspects then fled the building on foot. Police say the man wasn’t physically injured and the suspects didn’t obtain any of his property. It happened in my apartment complex Thursday afternoon in Mckinney, TX between 4pm-4:30pm. I did not arrive at my apartment until around 6:30pm, but from the pictures that I took, the police were still there quartering off part of the area with yellow tape. A total of six cop cars and two unmarked cars were there with detectives and forensics investigating the scene. Upon walking up to one of the cops, he quickly told me that everything was ok and after I repeatedly asked him the question and told him that I lived here and had a right to know, he rose his tone and then said, if you want to know, talk to the manager of the complex.   That would be nice, except that the manager of the complex was gone for the day. So I know that if I ask management what happened tomorrow, I will get a pass the ball response, in which they will most likely tell me to contact the police for information.
