At 11:55 a.m. Thursday, a Fairview West resident told police they found a body under a low-hanging bush near their house in the 2600 block of Bowie Lane, according to Corinth police Lt . Jimmie Gregg. Authorities believe it is Draper's body, but the medical examiner has not officially confirmed his identity. Gregg said police don't suspect foul play . He would not elaborate on any potential injuries or wounds found on the body. The fire was reported just after 4 a.m. Monday at Prince Hall Apartments on Prince Hall Lane . Fire Marshal Brad Hall said a rag was soaked in gasoline, placed between the door and screen door of an apartment and then set on fire. The call was originally reported as a fire with entrapment because the fire was outside the door, but Hall said everyone made it out unharmed. Hall said the residents were able to put out the fire using a pot of water. ST. LOUIS • Police said an officer shot and killed a man who had stabbed an officer inside an apartment Tuesday morning . But a woman who said she was related by marriage to the person killed said that person was a transgender woman named Kenneth “Kiwi” Herring. On Aug. 14, a person prowling around the area of Highway 41 and Allen Road was reported to the Madera County Sheriff ’s Office. When deputies responded , they found a male suspect on Allen Road, snooping around the area with a concealed weapon and burglary tools in his possession. He was booked into Madera County Jail . Fort Worth police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a South Fort Worth apartment Tuesday . Police said a man was shot in the head inside a residence at the Cameron Creek Apartments on the 5200 block of Bryant Irvin Road at about 1 p.m. Witnesses told police they heard the shot and saw a man running from the area. At this time police have confirmed no motive, have made no arrests and have released no description of the suspected shooter seen leaving the area.
