Man Shot, Killed in Fort Worth Apartment: Police

Fort Worth police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a South Fort Worth apartment Tuesday.

Police said a man was shot in the head inside a residence at the Cameron Creek Apartments on the 5200 block of Bryant Irvin Road at about 1 p.m.

Witnesses told police they heard the shot and saw a man running from the area.

At this time police have confirmed no motive, have made no arrests and have released no description of the suspected shooter seen leaving the area.

The victim's identity is being withheld, pending notification of family members.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Check back and refresh this page for the latest update.
