Ohio man arrested for urinating in store’s beer cooler
COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A toddler was pronounced dead at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Thursday evening after being pulled from a pool on the city’s north side. Columbus police responded to a pool at Worthington Meadows Apartments just after 7pm. They told NBC4 they believed the child was a 2-year-old boy. Sgt. Stan Latta said three patrol officers attempted to resuscitate the child before a medic took him to the hospital. The boy, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at 7:45pm. Police said the boy’s mother was with him at the pool, which was near the apartment complex on Wellingshire Boulevard. The pool was still open for the season. Neighbors said they got to the pool shortly after this happened Thursday and said the child’s mother was screaming and pleading for help.
