Aspen Chase is a good place to live. Relatively safe, good support staff and building managers. Beware, however, the rents advertised are not the rents you will end up paying. My apartment is supposed to be $699 but they charge extra $20 per month for my cat, plus extra monthly fees for the electric costs of the general property, garbage and sewage fees, plus administrative handling fees and water for the property. (This does include the water bill or the electricity bill I get for my individual apartment). I've never lived in an apartment complex where I had to pay an extra fee for garbage collection... Also, the fees change per month so it is hard to budget for them. (Average rent I pay total is $750-800). If they advertised the actual rents, I wouldn't have said no to taking an apartment here for $750 a month, it just feels really crappy to see all these extra fees for expenses that should be covered by the management company. (Seriously, you're going to run an apartment complex and not reckon into the costs that tenants will need to use the bathroom?!)

I lived in the apartment complex from February of 2015 to August of 2015, and it was a less than subpar complex. Within the first couple of days, the tenant gave me the wrong keys to my apartment - that should have been a sign to run! Then, a few weeks later, I come home to a jammed paper clip on the lock and scuff imprints on the door. At the time, I was commuting to Toledo ever single day for work, so I didn't really have time for the BS. Things deteriorated even more when the nice neighbors below me moved in and smoked weed from 8AM-6PM. At this point, I was fed up and called the cops. A Sheriff arrived and addressed the situation with the tenants and the individual ended up slamming the door in the sheriff's face. I will say that with all of the BS I was put through, the staff at Aspen Chase were pleasant and gave me the option to break the lead. I broke it around August after feeling like enough is enough and moved back to Toledo. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless you're OK living in a section 8 type of complex, where you sleep at night and don't feel safe.

WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER! DO NOT MOVE HERE! Not safe for children, not safe for animals! Don't expect any regular maintenance. Expect to find nails, broken flower beds, unresponsive staff, harassment of pets, washers/dryers out of service. I don't even want to know what is in the sand at the play areas. They hire the worst contractors....unexpected loud work next to your apartment. Leaving projects started a week prior and just left unfinished...only to proceed without warning. Find somewhere else to live...ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN OR ANIMALS!

First things first, the office staff can be very friendly that is until you actually need their help with anything. The property itself is crowded, and dirty. The common areas of the building don't get cleaned, the buzzer for our building NEVER works. The police are always in and out due to various crimes involving drugs, and violence. The dumpsters are a huge eyesore considering they don't get dumped that often. Every few weeks someone moves out and dumps all their property beside this building in the front then for a few days people rummage through it. I don't see how rent is nearly 900 in total with all their Admin fees, and whatever else they tac on the place is not safe, they claim it has 24 hr surveillance yet there aren't any cameras, at least not near the building we were in. The other complaint is that when we first moved in my car was towed probably a week or so after we moved in, the office claims that they don't just let people leave cars in the parking lot, yet my car runs, and is fully functional, yet there are vehicles with flat tires all over.. I suppose you may just have to get in good with the grounds crew.

I don't see why all these negative reviews This year is going to be my third year living at Aspen chase Apartment, great place, plenty of parking spot, very helpful staff members they always welcome me with smile, security gate, maintenance comes in time upon requests.

The new management team is much better in my opinion.. These upstair so called couples got into fist fights and it did not take long for even the older team at the office to evict them..congrats!
