Bella Hadid Says She Wants To Get Into Acting

Bella Hadid may have made a name for herself as a model, but she's looking to expand her horizons. Namely, she wants to dive into acting roles.

In an interview with The Telegraph, she opened up about her aspirations, saying: “I need to start taking acting classes and figure out a way to memorize things better,” she said. “But yes, the Oscar — one day."

In the interview, she talks about how she felt pressured to grow up so quickly as her career took off just as she was coming-of-age. "Working this much is going to give me a better platform to do bigger things in the world," she explained.

As for modeling, she's grateful for the opportunities she's had, but definitely doesn't see it as the end-all-be-all of her career. “I’m not saying I don’t love my job, but people think modeling is just [a thing] to become more famous,” she said. “I was 100% independent by the time I was 18, and I paid for my own apartment. That wasn’t because of my parents. I worked my a*# off for two years.”

Though she's been absolutely killing the modeling game lately, we're happy to see her broadening her horizons. (She and sister Gigi Hadid are co-starring in the 2017 Fendi ads, Bella is the face of the newest Max Mara campaign, and that's just the beginning of what they have coming up gig-wise).

Though she didn't discuss what kind of roles she'd be interested in trying (comedy? drama? action?) it seems like Bella's mindset is pretty open-ended, and ambitious. (She does want an Oscar, after all.) We may be seeing her across the big screen sooner rather than later.
