Graydon pleads guilty to stabbing man to death

FAYETTEVILLE -- A man pleaded guilty this morning to stabbing a family member to death two years ago.

Cantrell A. Graydon, 33, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder before Judge Mark Lindsay in Washington County Circuit Court.

Graydon stabbed David Allen, 25, multiple times during a fight Oct. 24, 2015, at the Stadium Apartments on Olympic Place. Allen died later at a hospital.

Graydon was arrested later the same day. He was charged with capital murder, which is punishable by life without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.

In exchange for his plea, Graydon was sentenced to 35 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction.
