Location, location, location! - Review of Color de Verano Village Apartments, Isla Mujeres

We previously stayed here before in a one bedroom unit and this most recent trip we stayed in a studio and found it worked perfect for our needs. The studios are on ground level with a small patio, open the front door into the efficient kitchen with a small table for 2 and another small area for lounging, then the bedroom with a large king bed, ample closet space with a television that had a few US channels and then in the very back is the bathroom including a shower with ample hot water and water pressure, glass lavatory sink and the toilet. The owner thinks of everything, there are umbrellas in case of rain, beach chairs and beach umbrella, insulated beach bag, cold wash cloths in the refrigerator. And the perfect location, picture on trip advisor is actually the restaurant/bar right next door. Located just off Playa Norte, easy walk to beach and the many, many restaurants.You will not need a golf cart unless you want to tour the whole island which is only 1/2 mile wide and 5 miles long.

Room Tip: I preferred the ground level studio over the one bedroom second level.

Springfield police raid Worthington Street apartment, arrest 4 men on heroin and cocaine charges

SPRINGFIELD -- Four suspects, squatters in a Worthington Street apartment , were arrested on heroin and cocaine charges Thursday night after police raided the place, a department spokesman said. Narcotics officers executed their warrant at 900 Worthington St ., Suite 3, at about 8:30 p.m., Sgt. John Delaney said. People outside the building yelled out warnings as police initiated their raid. The four men were arrested after police found them hiding inside closets and a bedroom, Delaney, public information officer for the department said. Police seized $1,164 in cash along with heroin and cocaine that was packaged for sale and drug paraphernalia. Arrested were: Daquan Fortune, 27, of 1231 Bay St.; Bradley Davis, 27 ,of 755 Worthington St .; Eric Williams, 25, of 10 Federal Court; and Rysheim Smith, 23, of 317 Peekskill Ave. They were charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
