9 407 Valley Ave NE Puyallup , WA 98372 (253) 840-8500 I moved from San Francisco to Puyallup (first mistake, but that is neither here nor there) and ended up in these apartments. First day, walked out on my "porch" to be visually greeted by an exposed beer-belly sitting on a completely upholstered couch , that was on his porch. Guess he didn't get the memo that there is indeed furniture that is made for the outdoors as well as clothing for bellies of that caliber. While this was disturbing, I will admit that there were some pluses to living at Meridian Pointe . Maintenance was pretty punctual about fixing things, neighbors were decent, and location is convenient to the highways. Also, PET FRIENDLY! But, in regards to pets, on my final walk through before moving out, a maintenance guy came to inspect my place, checked my carpet for pet damage, and told me it was in good condition . Then, I was charged for new carpet!? Dislike. Worst apartment ever. Moved in they charged...

San Francisco State University police on Tuesday were investigating an attempted burglary that occurred at an on-campus dorm two days before the start of instruction. A resident of an apartment located in the campus’ Centennial Village, an apartment complex reserved for Upper Division students , reported that two suspects kicked in the front door to his apartment at 9:51 p.m. Monday, according to police. After forcing their way into the apartment, the victim reported that one of suspects, who was carrying a clipboard, approached him and informed him that his valuables were not safe. The suspect prompted the victim to gather up his valuables and follow the suspects outside of the apartment. The victim refused to comply, and the suspects fled the apartment in an unknown direction. Police who combed the area were unable to locate the suspects. The victim described one of the suspects as a black man in his early 20s with a small goatee who was wearing a purple bandana and a grey hoodie....

A man with a possible felony warrant led Topeka police on a foot chase on Tuesday afternoon in southwest Topeka before being captured a short time later. The person’s identity wasn’t immediately released by police. A person called in a report of a suspicious subject. The name provided showed a possible felony warrant through Shawnee County , Topeka police Lt . Colleen Stuart said. A Shawnee County dispatcher said the foot chase was reported about 1:30 p.m. in the area of S.W. 29th and Randolph. At least six police vehicles were in the area assisting with the incident. At one point, the individual ran through the La Casa Grande Apartments , 2908 S.W. 31st Court. The person was captured about 1:58 p.m., a dispatcher said, nearby on 31st Court. Stuart said the male was behind the apartments in some brush. An American Medical Response ambulance was called to the scene as a precaution.
