As UK business lead , Mark Allnutt will oversee 200 plus London-based staff and a property portfolio which includes student housing and multifamily rental accommodation across the country. Allnutt has been tasked with increasing Greystar’s UK multifamily portfolio to 10,000 units within four years and growing its student housing portfolio to position the company as one of the country’s largest owners and operators of rental housing . Elco Landmark Apartment Trust Acquires Six Assets

Amelia Ridge, located in Cary, N.C. Texas & North Carolina —Elco Landmark Apartment Trust Holdings (doing business as Elco Landmark Residential ) has announced a series of transactions. Combined, the firm has added six properties (four in Texas, two in North Carolina ) to its portfolio. On Wednesday the company announced that it had partnered with DeBartolo Development and LEM Capital to acquire four garden- style assets located in San Antonio and Austin for approximately $44 million. Collectively, the Texas portfolio consists of 771 units that are 95 percent occupied. Starwood Capital Group, Milestone Agree to Acquire Landmark Apartment Trust for $1.9B in All-Cash Deal

GREENWICH, CONN. — Monument Partners LLC , an entity owned by affiliates of Starwood Capital Group and Milestone Apartments Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: MST.UN), has entered into an agreement to acquire Landmark Apartment Trust Inc. in an all- cash transaction valued at $1.9 billion, including the assumption of existing debt. Under the terms of the deal, Starwood Global Opportunity Fund X, through a controlled affiliate, will acquire Landmark Apartment Trust ’s ownership interest in 19,615 units in 63 apartment communities . The portfolio is located in eight Sunbelt states, with major concentrations in Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Charlotte and Nashville. Shaftesbury PLC Strategic addition to Soho ownership Shaftesbury PLC, the Real Estate Investment Trust which owns a 14½ acre portfolio in London's West End, announces that it has entered in to a contract with PMB Holdings Limited to acquire a long-leasehold interest in 90-104 Berwick Street, Soho, London W1 at a price of £38.5 million. Located at the southern end of Berwick Street, the property is currently being redeveloped to provide 12,500 sq. ft of retail, a 5,500 sq. ft. supermarket, a 2,000 sq. ft. restaurant and a 110 bedroom hotel. Both the hotel and supermarket have been pre-let. The redevelopment is expected to complete in late 2018, which will, subject to satisfying various contractual conditions, trigger the completion of the acquisition. Steadfast Buys Deer Valley Apartments for $29M

LAKE BLUFF, IL— Steadfast Income REIT Inc. announced Friday that it has purchased the 224- unit Deer Valley Apartments here for $28.6 million. The complex was built in 1991 and has average in-place rents of $1,179 per month, according to Steadfast. The garden- style community consists of 13 two- and three-story buildings and offers a mix of one- and two- bedroom apartments . About 70 percent of the units have been already renovated, and Steadfast plans to upgrade the remaining units when turning the units between residents. Amenities at each apartment include a stackable washer/dryer, secured intercom entry , large closets and private balconies or patios. PHOENIX, AZ - Colliers International in Greater Phoenix negotiated the sale of The Park at Deer Valley apartments at 17425 N. 19th Ave., in Phoenix, for $33 million or $75,688 per unit. Executive Vice Presidents Bill Hahn , Jeff Sherman and Trevor Koskovich with Colliers’ Phoenix office represented both the buyer and seller. The seller was Bruckal Properties, Inc., of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. The buyer was a private investor, Billah Khan of Phoenix. Tamarus St., which offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The community features a fitness center, clubhouse, tennis court, two pools and 350 parking stalls, among other amenities. The company also received preliminary loan approval for the construction of two apartment communities in southwest Florida. The credit facilities total $111 million. A $28 million loan on The Crest at Sugarloaf, a 540-unit property in Lawrenceville, Ga., was originated by The Guardian Life Insurance Co. Another $19 million loan were obtained from PPM America for The Crest at Berkeley Lake, a 382- unit apartment community in Duluth, Ga. PPD Holdings is in the process of refinancing The Crest at Laurel Canyon, a 350-unit in Canton, Ga. New York- based Somerset Partners LLC has purchased Dogwood Creek , a 278- unit apartment community on Houston Levee Road in Collierville. G & I V Dogwood Creek LLC , a joint venture between Fogelman Venture Partners of Memphis and a fund managed by New-York- based DRA Advisors LLC , sold the community at a rate of $93,525 per unit—translating to a grand total of $26 million, reports the Memphis Business Journal . Built in 1997, the Class A garden style apartment complex had a 97 percent occupancy at the time of purchase and consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom units with an average surface area of 985 square feet.
