Property manager Wheelhouse Apartments , along with its construction and commercial management wings , has moved to the former BillTrust building at Sixth Avenue and Santa Fe Drive with plans of buying a share of the office property in the next month. Tall Oaks Redevelopment Goes Before Reston’s DRB Again Tonight

The redevelopment of Tall Oaks Village Center will once again go before Reston’s Design Review Board during its meeting tonight. In July, the DRB deferred voting on approval of the site plan for the project that will see Tall Oaks transformed into a mostly residential neighborhood. Plans call for 156 homes (a mix of townhomes, 2-over-2 townhomes and multifamily buildings), community space, 8,500 square foot of retail and about 6,000 square feet of office space. In the presentation developers Jefferson Apartment Group and architects KTGY will present to the DRB (download), additional elevation maps are provided for the Board to consider. In addition, more detailed information about the common areas, tree buffer along North Shore Drive and more will be provided as requested by the DRB in July. Council approves downtown site plan | News

The Edmond City Council this week voted 3-1 with one abstention favoring the commercial site plan for The Campbell, to be located north of Campbell, west of Jackson and south of Edwards. Councilwoman Elizabeth Waner cast the no vote and Councilwoman Victoria Caldwell abstained from voting. Variances include : • 10' front yard setback variances on Campbell and Edwards; • Parking requirement to include a 25 percent exemption for not only the non- residential square footage of the project but also the multi-family units in the project; and • Sign variance for blade sign to extend over the right-of-way. Two buildings with streetscaping will be constructed with shared parking between them. Facing Edwards will be building A, a 39,954 square foot 3- story building housing with 36 apartments, said Randy Entz, city planner. City staff push for design changes on 13-story concept along E. Livingston

Illinois-based multifamily developer  Banner Real Estate Group  has the initial support of city staff for its proposed 13-story mixed-use apartment building planned in Downtown Orlando, but has also been put on notice that key design elements must change in the coming months.  Conceptual plans and new renderings for the 13- story building will go before Orlando's Appearance Review Board on Thursday for a courtesy review.  That's being done by the developer, civil engineer  Kimley-Horn  and architect  Baker Barrios  to get valuable early feedback from the ARB and staff on their design, before an eventual Master Plan filing .
