July 06, 1986 Preleasing has begun at River Place apartments now under construction along the Du Page River in west suburban Naperville . Marquette Properties, a Chicago-based firm that heads the partnership developing River Place , has installed a trailer to serve as a leasing office until space is ready in the building, said Bruno Bottarelli, managing partner. When completed, River Place will offer 239 one- or two- bedroom apartments , many with dens and fireplaces, at rents ranging from $699 to $1,374. Two six-story, Y-shaped buildings currently are being built on a wooded site known locally as the Netzley Estate. River Place is located on Aurora Road 1/2-mile west of Washington Street.
