Aug. 23--DANBURY -- A high- profile apartment complex has hit the market in the city, just as another apartment community with a large price tag has been sold. 1 Kennedy Flats, a 374-unit complex in downtown Danbury built in 2016, is on the market for an undisclosed price, according to the real estate website LoopNet .com. Real estate firm CBRE is the exclusive adviser in the sale, according to the website. An official with Greystar, the owner and developer of 1 Kennedy Flats, confirmed the news and said putting the complex on the market shortly after building it was part of the business plan. "It depends on the capital partner, but often times that's how we develop," Daniel Lee, Greystar's senior director of development for New England said. "It turned out great. The city of Indianapolis is prepared to commit up to $4.6 million to the downtown Bottleworks project , with most of the amount needed to move an electric transmission line running through the site. A 38- page project agreement between the city and developer Hendricks Commercial Properties , set to be approved Wednesday by the Metropolitan Development Commission , outlines city costs associated with the project, along with other details. Beloit, Wisconsin-based Hendricks in July won approval from the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission to build the $260 million project on the 11-acre site of the former Coca- Cola bottling plant . Construction on the property at North College and Massachusetts avenues is expected to begin early next year. Plans call for a 136- room West Elm hotel , an eight-screen cinema, office and retail space, and apartments and condominiums. A busy intersection in Shaker Heights is being transformed through the redevelopment of the Warrensville- Van Aken business district . The former Van Aken Center will connect with nearby Shaker Plaza to create the Van Aken District , a new downtown and community- gathering place for the city. Illinois-based multifamily developer  Banner Real Estate Group  has the initial support of city staff for its proposed 13-story mixed-use apartment building planned in Downtown Orlando, but has also been put on notice that key design elements must change in the coming months.  Conceptual plans and new renderings for the 13- story building will go before Orlando's Appearance Review Board on Thursday for a courtesy review.  That's being done by the developer, civil engineer  Kimley-Horn  and architect  Baker Barrios  to get valuable early feedback from the ARB and staff on their design, before an eventual Master Plan filing . by Adriana Pop, Associate Editor Milhaus Development recently closed a construction loan with PNC Bank to build new residences at the Solana Apartments at the Crossing, a $38 million expansion of the former Renaissance Bay condominiums on the north side of Indianapolis. The first phase of the project includes 312 apartments which will be added to the existing 24 units. Forty-six additional apartments are planned for the second phase, the company said. Located near the Fashion Mall, on a lake next to the White River, the community will include studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom units with granite countertops, upgraded appliances and hard-surface floors in the kitchens and bathrooms. The apartments will range between 536 and 3,058 square feet, with rents from $725 to $2,850. Residents will have access to a pool, fitness room, jogging trail and outdoor kitchen. Houston- based developer Hines has completed construction of its 352- unit Meriel Marina Bay luxury apartment complex in Quincy and an extension of the waterfront development’s boardwalk. The complex built at the former Ocean Club consists of two 5-story buildings with garage parking and 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Callahan Construction Managers is overseeing the project, which is 25 percent leased. The complex provides free resident shuttle service to the MBTA’s North Quincy station . Listed rents start at $2,191 for studio apartments. Managed by Bozzuto, the complex also contains one- through three-bedroom units, with monthly rents starting  at $2,471 for a one-bedroom and three- bedroom units starting at $5,111.
