Along the busy Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Dunwoody is a sprawling collection of two- story apartment buildings . The units are worn but relatively kept up. Dozens of children play soccer or run in the parking lots. And numerous vans with ladders atop their roofs indicate a working class clientele . The buildings and their occupants might be largely unremarkable, but the Dunwoody Glen and Lacota apartment complexes and their 2,000-plus mostly Hispanic residents are now the focus of a controversy that has divided this newly incorporated suburban enclave and led to a federal lawsuit . The two were killed in a three-alarm blaze that left 11 adults and nine children homeless. The fire destroyed their apartment and heavily damaged two of the seven others in the 100-year-old former St. Mary's Church at 62 School St. The Brelsfords -- whose names were confirmed by neighbors and co-workers but not fire or police officials -- were the third and fourth victims of fatal fires in Connecticut this week. Tel Aviv- based designer Yael Perry renovated this apartment in the Israeli region of Sharon into a "cool, contemporary" space with unexpected colourful accents . The 240-square- metre duplex apartment has been given a stripped- back colour palette , with walls painted in muted shades of grey and blue. Perry designed oversized geometric shapes for the walls, adding diamonds, squares and rectangles in contrasting shades. This is echoed in other details added to the apartment, including a black-and- white patterned rug , and tableware with subtle geometric prints . Detectives from the Major Crimes Division – Robbery Section have arrested five suspects for a home invasion robbery that began on August 1 and continued into the morning of August 2 at an apartment in the 8800 block of Manchester Road in Silver Spring.  The suspects arrested are: Edwin Ajeo , age 16, of the 9000 block of Manchester Road in Silver Spring.  He is being charged as an adult.  He was arrested on August 10 and is being held without bond.  (A photograph of Ajeo will not be released because he is a juvenile). BIG POOL — Clyde W. Crabtree Sr. was a quiet, soft-spoken man whose humble nature belied an interesting career. His work took him far from his modest beginnings in Western Maryland , even though he never lived more than 150 miles from where he began. Clyde was born and raised in an era where technical training was on the job — carpentry in his case. It was through that training that Clyde got a job with the Department of the Army and worked at Arlington (Va.) National Cemetery . A self-described jack-of-all-trades, Clyde did carpentry and maintenance work, and closed off roads for funeral processions. No matter when it snowed, Clyde was expected to help keep the cemetery roads plowed , and clear a path at the Tomb of the Unknowns and the eternal flame at President John F. Kennedy's grave.
