Fort Worth police are investigating after firefighters found a body inside an apartment at the River Ranch Apartments in Fort Worth Friday morning . Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 4701 King Ranch Road at 8 a.m., according to Tim Hardeman with the Fort Worth Fire Department . Firefighters reported light smoke showing from the building. Crews found a small fire contained by a sprinkler system inside one of the units, but Hardeman said a body was also discovered. Fort Worth police were called to investigate. The cause of death will be determined by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner .
