Man remains critical in 101 Freeway collisions that killed Calabasas mom of three
A man who may hold the key to the cause of a six-vehicle crash that killed a Calabasas mother of three on the 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills last week remained in critical but stable condition Tuesday , California Highway Patrol officials said. Claudia Mejia, 40, was killed Feb. 4 after the Hyundai Genesis she was driving on the 101 Freeway at Mulholland Drive was rear-ended by a Lexus LS 460 driven by Massoud Entezari, 76, of West Hills, authorities said. As a result, the Genesis was propelled forward and collided with a Honda Civic, then continued east and struck the steel guardrail bordering the off-ramp before colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The Lexus also continued east and collided with the guardrail before coming to a stop, CHP officials said.
